Lasting Legacy: The 1st Ever Tribute to Women In Wrestling celebrates women in the pro wrestling industry and women's wrestling for the first time ever in the history of the pro wrestling industry.

This special event features WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus, WWE Hall of Famer Amy "Lita" Dumas, Lisa Marie Varon (formerly known as Victoria), Lisa Moretti (formerly known as Ivory), Former WWE Diva Terri Runnels, Former WCW Star Missy Hyatt and GLOW Star Little Egypt. Hosted by WGNI 102.7 FM's Jackie Jordan and Former WCW Star, Missy Hyatt.

Although professional wrestling was dominated by men since its inception, women have also begun participating since the 1990s initially referring to them as Divas. The term has since sunsetted when Women's Championship was introduced in 2016. Since then, women in wrestling has been referred to as Superstars.

Some women wrestlers also work as part-time models and fitness models like Trish Stratus (Patricia Anne Stratigeas). Lisa Marie Varon, who is also known as Victoria in the ring, is an avid bodybuilder herself. Lisa Moretti, the Ivory in the ring, who's now into animal welfare business, and Terri Runnels, who is now more involved in some of her philanthropic work.

This special event took place on May 23, 2015 by Masters of Ring Entertainment at the Coastline Convention Center in Wilmington, NC.
